Broadly, the concept of intergenerational justice and/or equity deals with exploring how people of all ages are connected, and seeks to create fair collaboration and solidarity among generations. Here, Intergenerational Justice has a commitment to recognizing and broadening the diversity of age among activists working for environmental justice, particularly in the fight against mountain top removal coal mining in Appalachia.
